For All Users (Free & Pro):

Website Content (Chat Content): To generate a high-fidelity PDF, the extension reads the selected chat HTML from your active NotebookLM browser tab.

For Registered/Pro Users Only:

Account & Authentication Information: Email address and login credentials (or Google OAuth profile data) when you create an account to manage your subscription.

Financial & Payment Information: Subscription status and transaction records. (Note: All actual payments are processed through secure, third-party providers; we do not collect your credit card numbers).

2. Data Handling and Storage

We process and store your data securely, strictly for providing our core functionality. Our core philosophy is "Process, Don't Store."

Chat Content and Temporary PDFs: Your chat content is sent to our server solely for the purpose of rendering it into a professional PDF format. Temporary PDF files are automatically deleted after download. Generation involves temporary server-side processing; account and subscription records are handled separately.

Account and Subscription Data: If you register for an account, your email and subscription status are stored securely on our servers for as long as your account is active to provide you with Pro features.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We are strictly committed to your privacy. We do not sell, rent, trade, or lease ANY of your personal information (including chat content, email addresses, or account details) to any third parties.

We only share specific data with trusted third-party service providers (listed in Section 4) strictly for the purpose of operating our service. These providers are bound by strict data protection agreements.

4. Third-Party Services

Our extension interacts with the following third-party services to function:

NotebookLM: Our extension interacts with NotebookLM to function. Your use of NotebookLM is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Our extension only accesses the data you explicitly choose to export.

Google OAuth: If you choose to sign in with Google, your basic profile information (name and email address) is shared with us by Google. Your use of Google sign-in is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

PayPal: Subscription payments are processed by PayPal. When you subscribe, you are subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your full payment details.

Resend: We use Resend to send account-related emails such as email verification and subscription confirmations. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for this purpose.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information during transmission. All data sent between the extension and our rendering server is encrypted via SSL/TLS.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (such as California or the EEA), you may have rights regarding your data, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information.

7. Compliance with Chrome Web Store Policies

The NotebookLM to PDF extension's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update this policy as we add new features or as regulatory requirements change. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
